Living on a Off-Grid Homestead in Maine – Video

This is a nice little video that really paints a picture of what it’s like to have a homestead and also shows some beautiful scenery of Western Maine. I always wonder if I could make enough money to live comfortably off the grid and be self sufficient.

If you moved out to the country how would you support yourselves? How would you earn income? I’d probably do something internet related since that’s what I know but I’m curious what others would do or wouldn’t do.
